Keep up to date with activities across the Mercian Collaboration with the new Mercian mailing list

Missing out on Mercian events? Want to get more involved in our groups? Would love to hear more about training opportunities? Well good news everybody, a new Jiscmail list has been launched, and its exclusive to Mercian Collaboration members!

The list (mercian-collaboration@jiscmail.ac.uk) provides a location for all library and information staff working within Mercian Collaboration institutions to keep up to date on events, activities and opportunities for participation.  Additionally, the list is intended to provide a collaborative space for regional library staff to share experiences and seek advice from colleagues.

List content is expected to include announcements of special interest group events, calls for speakers for the annual conference, special interest group committee vacancies alongside news and announcements from the Collaboration itself. While, the Mercian website remains the primary resource for information on the Collaboration’s various activities, but along with its social media presence (@MercianCollab), the discussion list provides another great way for staff who might be missing out on activities to hear about what’s going on.

List membership is free (naturally) and currently open to any and all staff based within the 23-member libraries.
